Best Investment Ever
Love the size and ease of use. We use it to scan business receipts. Also like the software that reads the image and can identify most info on the receipts. Saved me lots of time and hassle to organize receipts manually. It's very similar to QuickBooks receipt image upload, but better.
Good experience for my first receipt scanner.
First time using a dedicated receipt scanner. I have liked it so far and it has worked well. I haven't used the wireless function because I travel so setting up the wi fi each time seems like a hassle. I would like a version that stored the receipts internally or on an SD card so I wouldn't need the laptop every time. Also, I'm going to make an angled base because I usually set the scanner on the edge of the desk/table almost right in front of the laptop and sometimes the receipts catch on the laptop and are scanned crooked.
Snappy little scanner
I purchased the renewed unit and was impressed with its condition. There were no defects and it worked marvelously. The scanning rate is rather quick, even at high DPI levels, with the ability to scan entire receipts that are ridiculously long.
I have not tried out the software or the WiFi feature, so YMMV with those. For my purposes, scanning in receipts and dumping them into FOSS software for organization, I had no trouble with this unit.
Be aware that, much like other scanners, you may need to drop it out of "auto" document color mode and choose "grayscale" to pick up faded receipts.

The reason I like this Mobil scanner is that it comes with software that you can download and there
is no subscription. Not really crazy about all these subscription services. Finally a product that you feel you own and isn't contingent on a subscription fee needing to be paid. I hope that doesn't change. There are people out there that want to own something not rent it on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
Great super portable scanner
This is my first ultraportable scanner and im very happy with it. The only unexpected caveat is the wireless function seems to only "pair" with one device at a time although i havent investigated thoroughly. I just use the USB cable on my 2nd PC. The accounting seems useful so far, good option if you dont have an existing spreadsheet or record of expenses. The scanner software is good, i like the push to scan button on the device - kicks off the epson scanner software on PC. The scanner feels solid, seems like features are well implemented and stable.
I like this more than I should like a thing
If you do not have one of these yet, get this one. If you scan loads of crap - like me CONSTANTLY scanning receipts and invoices - this is actually easier than taking pictures with a phone. The software is great (On Windows) frankly there are a lot of these, and I read a lot of reviews, and figured I'd get the middle of the pack, and I love - Love - as in TO LOVE this thing.
A person without a receipt is a person looking for trouble!
Easy to use! Why our C-Phones nor computers do not come equipped with this feature I just do not know because they are certainly equipped to!! This unit is more than worth the connection though, keep all of Your proof in order and at Your command for the ages, warranties, car purchases, pay-Cheques, ID’s and all else!1 FINALLY…
